@merican_honkey HOW FUCKING GREAT would it be to KILL OFF 2 RINOS (#Meijer and #Upton) with one Stone (so to speak)?!?!? :)
I'd talked about, elsewhere, don't have link handy, about issue... oh... no... wait.... I do... it is in one of the REPLIES at: https://www.12cdrc.org/forum/redistricting-discussion/first-look-at-new-s-e-michigan-district-maps... about how are we gonna fit 7 current GOP Congresscritters into the new likely RED (or competitive) NEW DISTRICTS!!! This solves that, if people out that part of the State pay attention AND STEP UP!!!
It seems the only person NOT getting fully hosed is #WALBERG. He'll likely (again, speculations in: https://www.12cdrc.org/forum/redistricting-discussion/first-look-at-new-s-e-michigan-district-maps (feel free to join in them there)) Run in the NEW MICD08 (which will hold most of his Constituents together)!
And, an aside, our WAYNE12CDRC voted to CENSURE BOTH THOSE FOOLS.
The Wayne-12 at the April regular scheduled, and in-person, general meeting adopted additional Resolutions. All standing in solidarity with other Districts that passed similar Resolutions demanding that the MIGOP take actions. First, a second Resolution (separate and apart, from Election Integrity Resolution previously passed by the W12CDRC and as shared/reported in full in our Special "Election Integrity" Edition (v2021-3, March 2021, http://tinyurl.com/W12Newsletter2021-3) of our Newsletter. This new/additional ELECTION INTEGRITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY Resolution puts us in solidarity with Antrim County, ground zero in Michigan for the Dominion Voting Systems concerns, Resolves that irregularities MUST BE ADDRESSED, changes to Michigan Law where required, and Prosecution of those who broke existing/current Michigan Election Laws. Further, in two other/additional Resolutions, we called upon the State Party to make clear that while we all may have differences of opinion and policy on some issues, what can never be a/in question is that the GOP is the Party of THE CONSTITUTION, DUE PROCESS, and RULE OF LAW, and that Elected GOP Representatives that partake in actions outside the bounds of the Constitution will be held to account.
(I think I reported that in http://tinyurl.com/W12Newsletter2021-4 Edition)

@JLenardDetroit ......on the ground, in the district. Meijer is gone. Horton should easily take his seat. Can Horton gain enough momentum to grab Uptons constituents as well, will depend on Hortons messaging and who else steps forward to run in the primaries.
