''I will not defend against prosecutors that have no right to charge me and my brothers. I will not discuss accusations dealing with topics that are only a matter of German politics and do not concern foreigners. I will not answer statements that are meant to dishonor myself or my Nation. I consider all accusations as a proof that you, our enemies, are aware of our honor and need to undermine it. I was privileged to work many years of my life under the greatest son whom my nation has produced in its thousand-year history. Even if i could, i would never want to erase it from my life. I am happy to know I fulfilled my duty to my nation, my duty as a German, a National Socialist and loyal follower of our leader. I do not regret anything..'' ~ Rudolf Hess at Nuremberg
Adolf Hitler made 12 different peace offers to Britain trying to avoid the war. Churchill rejected them all.
Unfortunately Jewish influence in the UK and the US media was so significant it convinced millions of Americans and Brits that Hitler was a crazed dictator who wanted to take over the world, and rallied them through means of vicious propaganda against the Germans and their struggle against Jewish Bolshevism.
In a final and desperate attempt to prevent a world war and to reach the English people who were held hostage by a lying war mongering Jewish press and their minion Churchill, Rudolf Hess (Adolf Hitler's right-hand man) flew to England personally to present Germany's offer of peace.
On may the 10th 1941 he took a Messerschmidt Bf 110 and set off on his mission and landed on a farm in Scotland several hours later. Shortly after landing he asked to speak to the Duke of Hamilton. When asked what he was doing there he answered: “I have come to save humanity.”
The very generous offer of peace he had sacrificed himself to bring in person were once again rejected and on Churchill's orders he was imprisoned in solitary confinement in the Tower of London where he endured horrendous torture and was eventually sent to a military hospital for symptoms of insanity, likely very severe PTSD from being tortured. After the war he was put on trial at Nuremberg and sentenced to life in prison. He died in Spandau Prison in 1987.
