So, there's a lot of talk of a heavily edited video from the Hunter Biden laptop being released to the public soon.

I don't know if it's true or not.

I seriously doubt the authorities would ever release even a heavily edited version of anything - just like how Frazzledrip is a fake, this story has whiffs of Frazzledrip about it - but we're living in unprecedented times, so I really do not know.

But please - whatever you do - DO NOT post random videos you may find elsewhere online, purporting to be "the Hunter Biden video." Think back to a week or so ago, when the fake screenshot of the "Epstein Suicide" was released for the specific purpose of targeting and shutting down Anon accounts. Bad forces posted fake images to entrap/discredit/deplatform Anons.

I imagine this is an opportunity for evildoers to get not just fake material in the hands of anons, but outright illegal materials.

It should go without saying: do not post them on Gab. Myself and the other mods will be on the lookout, and we will be removing and reporting accounts who post illegal material - even if they're just someone who posted it in "good faith" thinking they were posting breaking news.

But you need to understand:

If you post something - even with good intentions - Instead of just losing an account now, you may go to jail for possessing something you should not possess.

Leave this one to the professionals. *IF* such a video exists, and *IF* it is ever released to the public in a highly edited form, it will be through official, professional channels - like actual news orgs.

Random glowing "anons" posting torture videos in dark reaches of the internet don't fit that description.
