@sjg00 Well, I think it does not matter much, if he is jew or not, but more matters, if he is moral or amoral... (and I did not speak about it, since I write instead... in the country where I live, the "jew" is rather considered an insult or invective... And although they live among us, but they don't call themselves "jews" any more, they are one of us, our compatriots... And they are not "global cabal" against us any more, or much less openly than in USA...)

What I think, is that the "All Vows" (Kol Nidre) singing should rather be abolished. And if the melody is so much "putative", then invent other words for it...
It is just training against "Conscience", a false Purging of Conscience in advance... While the Conscience is what foremost makes one Human, truly differing from Animals, who do not have Conscience and they do only what is momentarily profitable... Without Conscience you are only partially Human in Spirit, or rather severely Impaired... And sooner or later no one would trust you and you would be scorned at, that is a usual punishment for those, who are Liars... Lying is Abominable and Disgusting, and no ritual singing in advance may change that...
The Talmud should be proclaimed Diabolic Deception and should be Discarded.

While we know it, but (((they))) should admit it also for themselves... And then they can keep paper artifacts in Museums and Libraries...) While it is possible to consider a vow made under pressure (such as blackmail etc) as less binding, specially if it would be harmful to fulfill, but you should always strive to be moral and straight, and praise and keep Truth instead of Deception, foremost in Yourself...
And better do not promise in vain (Mt5:33-37)... (I'm usually trying to specify instead of "I will come tomorrow" to say "I will try to come tomorrow" or "I will probably come tomorrow", because I do not know, if something unexpected would happen... And if the other side coerces it to be more sure, then I can explain it, that I do not know, what may happen...)
