Woman with 12 stars of Revelation 12 is obviously EUROPE.
There is not written in Rev12, that it should be Virgin Mary, and not even that it should be any saint. Since She already Ascended to Heaven, She cannot bear another Son of Man here on Earth...

It's not wrong to venerate Virgin Mary, Theotokos Mother of God...
It's also not wrong to find another way to the Christianity and Jesus Christ - who IS the Path... (J14:1)
God Loves all (or most) of Churches. Keep your good Traditions, and admit, that others may have different Traditions, and one such being Right does not mean others are Wrong...
It's better to keep Traditions and Spirituality and Religion, than to be empty Atheists and Materialists, but even those or their children may find the spiritual way some time later...
In My opinion, Virgin Mary as venerated is a Symbol of Maternity, and in Virgin Mary you also venerate all Mothers, and you give them a role model of Chastity and Piety...
As I've formerly protested venerating pillars with a woman with twelve stars, which is a statue of Europe actually, which is not saint and does not deserve veneration, I would rather suggest replacing those stars with a shining glory and really making them the statues of Virgin Mary, as was on other statues, before Habsburgs introduced these Pillars, and enforced them all the way to their project of the EU Babylon...
And in the book of Revelation it is most probably, so that you haughty Americans and Russians could admit, that Son of Man comes from the old Europe... Neither our Lord Jesus Christ came from Rome or Athens, but from a periphery of a periphery...
And about Flag of EU, Europeans, contemplate, what it depicts. What is there, and what is there not and why it should not be there...
