I’m not very far removed from my military days so maybe it just bothers me more.
Many Americans are ready to send their own sons and daughters to die in a war because CNN and Fox say to. Why? To defend Americans? To defend their values? To make their future children safe?
No, that’s not even the excuse. Nobody in America is affected by Russians in Ukraine. They are ready to kill their own children over some country on the other side of the planet that politicians launder money in.
It’s a sick society.

@Stanleymitchell90 No way in hell will my son serve under this administration. A recruiting officer calls here every 6 months trying to sign my son up and I tell him exactly what I how I feel.
@Stanleymitchell90 I think very few Americans are willing to send their own sons or daughters.. But alot would be okay with sending someone else's .
@Stanleymitchell90 I've grown increasingly skeptical of the idea that parents in the West are zealously defensive of their children. It's a real common claim, but between moms of 'trans' kids, COVID stuff and more, it seems like parents dislike their kids or exploit them shamelessly.
I'm sure some are, but it's not nearly as many as we think.

@Stanleymitchell90 Nobody amongst the powerful and rich sends their sons to die (or in my case lifelong disabilities). We both gave our body l/health to an evil regime. We live in hell…period
