Just an update on my previous post.
I had to remove two frames and go to 8 from 10 to make room for the "fat" frames.
I hope they cap it soon so I can extract and correct them.
With this I think I'll abandon the checkered pattern strategy when introducing new foundation frames.
Hi. I was wondering if state licensing and hive information reporting requirements are common in other states like it is in Maine? What would be the benefit? Thanks.

Robotic Bees. They have deliberately destroyed honeybees across the globe with pesticides and chemtrails. Now, they are presenting the "solution" that they have wanted all along. This grants them even more control over nature and the food supply.

It looks like there is a mismatch between what I expect when I introduce foundation frames in a checkered pattern and what the bees do in that situation.

With blue: fat frames where the cells are way outside the frame. These frames are the ones that were originally in the hive and were normal frames until the bees added to them.

With red: skinny frames are the empty foundation frames I introduced, where the bees built a little bit on the foundation because they didn't have room because of the fat frames they previously built.

Is there a better way of introducing empty foundation?

Grow some flowering vines on a trellis do your bees!
Here are instructions to build a simple arched trellis that will be very strong as well as beautiful. You will leave this one in place all year around. It holds up to high winds – we know because we have had 70-75 mph winds several times during spring and fall tornado-like storms. We added our trellises between two of our 4’x 8′ raised beds, but there are so many ways this can be done!

Recently, I was reflecting on how opinionated beekeepers are and thought to myself, "Sometimes the answer to the question 'Why do you do things a certain way?' should be, 'Because I haven't been taught anything better.'"

I stumbled upon an interesting situation and I was curious what do you guys think of it.

My interpretation is this:
On the same frame, three different queen cells in different stages.
1 had emerged between the time I noticed it and the time I got my phone.
2 had emerged sometimes prior but still fresh as it still had royal jelly in the cup
3 an intact queen cell.
My thinking was that if a queen had already emerged, why weren't the rest of the cells "canceled"?
