Uploaders and viewers are rewarded with a crypto credit called a LBRY Token.
That may sound like a mouthful but at the simplest level a user can simply click in to the LBRY.TV or Odysee.com websites and watch a video just like Youtube.
Viewers are given a daily award of LBRY tokens just for watching videos.
Once a video is uploaded to the LBRY blockchain it is almost impossible for it to be removed making the protocol incredibly censorship resistant.
If a user downloads the LBRY desktop application they can also choose to mirror videos meaning those videos will always be available.
