The "Condor Legion Tank Badge" was a German military decoration awarded to troops who fought in the Condor Legion on the side of the Nationalists in the Spanish Civil War. The Condor Legion was established in July 1936 to provide direct military support to the Nationalists in Spain's ongoing Civil War. The Legion, which included members of the Wehrmacht, had armored units equipped with Panzer I light tanks under the command of Colonel Wilhelm Ritter von Thoma.
