Once they are processed they are given an envelope that includes $1400 per person, directions as to where they will be going, pre-filled paperwork on applying for government benefits, and -- depending on where they are being sent -- directions on how to get registered to vote. Based on the number of apprehensions in July, tax payers have paid illegals over $285M. One must ask why Catholic Charities continues to operate in the state of Texas? Catholic Charities and other NGO’s on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande River have been tied directly to the cartels. Governor Abbott stated that all vehicles transporting illegals in the state would return them to the port of entry. Is this actually being done? It is imperative that our governors not be complicit in human and sex trafficking.
