Yesterday at the Houston Pachyderm forum, Governor Abbott's spokesperson, Steve Munisteri, admitted that Abbott is more afraid of Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland and a flawed SCOTUS decision instead of defending the sovereignty of Texas. I took an oath to the Constitution of the United States, not to the Supreme Court, certainly not to Merrick Garland. In taking the oath to the Texas constitution, I will defend the Texas Republic and defy any unlawful, immoral, and unconstitutional decisions of individuals. Arizona AG just issued legal decision declaring the border crisis an "invasion" under the Constitution. Why has Texas not followed same path?
