There are many levers to controlling competition but perhaps the strongest one is the volume discount lever. It allows big chains to gain advantage based on quantity, not quality. Then the mom and pop variety, diversity and creation are thrown out for cold efficiency and big boxes. Our "government" let it happen. #RICO swuave....# Sherman act
