This Easter, lets come together to honor and appreciate the impact of Christs sacrifice! As mentioned in John 10;11 "I am the shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices himself for his sheep." Jesus act of love, through His sacrifice was a gesture to truly save those who have faith in Him demonstrating that His crucifixion wasn't a chance for salvation—it was a definitive act of redemption. The idea that Christs sacrifice was specifically meant for His followers (sometimes referred to as " atonement") emphasizes the depth of His love and the certainty of His commitment to save. It's a display of love; the Shepherd sacrificing Himself to secure the salvation of His flock.
