"#California's #CivilRights Department ran a shakedown campaign against the game studio #Activision, weaponizing civil rights law, mobilizing narratives in the media, and working with activists to destroy the company's reputation and squeeze it for $ 1 billion. Total #corruption." #fraud #corrupt #corruption #moneylaundering https://archive.ph/xhyRW "In case you didn't know, all of the allegations of sexual misconduct, abuse, harassment, and "frat boy culture" was entirely fake and the state of #California even admitted that there was no evidence substantiating any of the claims. The ENTIRE controversy around Blizzard was setup by California to force the company to stop hiring White men using #MeToo allegations to strong arm them. Some of these accusations were so bizarre and insane that they included: - Theft and consumption of breastmilk during work hours - A "rape room" named after Bill #Cosby - Sexual harassment to the point of an employee ending her own life All of these claims were essentially a theatre performance over the fact that ONLY 1-in-5 of Blizzard employees were women. As a result, Blizzard agreed to pay roughly 18M in fines and setup HR hiring practices that would discriminate against White men. Internal messages between #California #CivilRights Divison officials showed that the entire thing was a ploy to "send a message to the industry" to literally ruin videogames. It was SO FUCKING FAKE that #Brack and #Kotick literally PAID THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES TO STAGE A WALK OUT. After #Blizzard capitulated and announced it would discriminate in its hiring the state walked back from a billion dollar lawsuit to a 55M settlement and announced that all the allegations were false." https://archive.ph/ylOkx re. https://archive.ph/xxLjA "This is why #WoW turned paintings of women into fruit baskets: #NYT and other sources gathered by bumbadum claims the entire story about Blizzard sexual harrasement was without any evidence and was a shakedown. The entire thing was a ploy for money and moral grandstanding. If it wasn't, then the individuals accused would have had their asses sued off by the women they were alleged to harass. That never happened, so where is the evidence?" https://archive.ph/S0rGa
