JUST IN: Treasury Blocks $100 MILLION In Payments to Deceased Individuals (03:22) Yup. I knew a woman who took care of her ailing grandfather. When he passed away she continued to spend the money being deposited directly into his checking account. Not too sure how long it went on, but when she got caught she was threatened with prosecution. She had to pay it back, along with interest and penalties.
