Just like we used all the way up to around the late 2010's (depending on which type of business it was), before everything just seemed to be moved onto a "cloud" (someone else's storage devices). We wouldn't need to even do that anyway, since computer storage is vast and cheap. Your family doctors computer, alone, could easily store all records for all their patients on each of their own computers without issue. This goes for most businesses out there too. Bring it all back to locally stored and locally networked systems, with a few net-connected systems. This way, if the net-connected computers are breached, the rest of the computers in the office aren't even affected at all, and literally zero data is lost/stolen/corrupted. So, all the shit he threatens to 'hack' and of course 'disrupt' and even no doubt destroy (because that costs us money and time to rebuild)... no, i say we could just burn all that shite to the fucking ground anyway. Some things should never have been put onto the fucking internet. I assume like most banks, they always had their own cash machine on their building, so when the branch was closed, you could still get some cash. So this is fine. They were doing this since before the internet became a thing. That wouldn't need to change. Your doctors, don't need to have your records on the internet either. Never did. Airlines too. It's a very simple system. You don't 'need' to use the internet to get a ticket. There was ALWAYS a travel agency you could go to, and they'd handle the bookings etc for you for a fee of course, or you could just go to the fucking airport and book a flight directly if need be. For much of this shit, i'd say burn it down anyway and Don't start again. Keep it simple, local, and unhackable. Don't make it easy for these bastards.
