It's also made worse by the simple fact that Trump and the US government continues to export oil, and food, and raw ingredients etc, and this of course has the knock-on effect of raising prices at home, and keeping those prices high, and even forcing those prices to continue to rise. The government can only artificially keep the prices in a certain range for so long, before the market literally snaps and your prices explode.
