Jesus' death abolished death, the Righteous for the UNrighteous & His Resurrection brought Life & Immortality in view for all to see through the Gospel, the Good News, so good you want to share it with others! Paul again points out in the previous verse "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace" God gets all the glory for it, our works can achieve us rewards, but NOT SALVATION. That alone belongs to Jesus, so receive Him, call out to Him to save you, believe God raised Him from the Grave the 3rd day & your name will be written in His Book of Life.
