#Jesus #Truth #Bible #Scripture #Inspiration #Life #Grace #Perspective All 3 of these in the Greek are written in the sense of an imperative, that is, it's a command. The "hope" Paul mentions isn't like the English sense of the word, like "a wish" but, in the absolute sense of a true event also known as the believer's "Blessed Hope" Christ's return, first, for His Church/Bride. "Be patient" better put "persevere in tribulation" meaning in this sin-broken world, you're gonna have it, expect it, but unlike the lost, we have "THE HOPE" share that hope with the lost. Prayer is the acknowledgement that God is very active in the affairs of man but God has limited this to only His children being able to move our loving Heavenly Father, not to do our will, but that we may be about His will & intervene if necessary when our adversary seeks to stop His will being done.
