STD NHS EoLC 10mg dose Every 4 hours Patient Safety Expert : MIDAZOLAM. I've seen an older patient given as little as 0.5mg midazolam for day procedure who then had to be admitted to hospital overnight because of how sedated they were. Very rare for me to give more than 2.5 to 3mg to any patient
