Up ahead in the riot, I saw a flickering light. My head got beaten and my eye swelled shut.  Seems I had got in a fight! There he stood with his detail, his hair slicked back with gel. "We shut down their shops and gyms, this could be heaven, but I’ll make it hell.” Then he spoke in his cell phone, "Let more prisoners out." Thugs were yelling as they looted stores - I thought I heard them shout, You're stuck in the State of California! It was a lovely place! (Til we burnt it down)  Now we own this town. Liberals rule in the State of California, In election year, (when you watch TV) guess who's on the screen! His mind is def'nitely twisted. He got the ear of the press. He got a lot of money, lot of bling, but brains much less. How he acts for the camera, just like he cares. But he never means it, even if he swears. So I call up this Governor,  "Please bring me my wine!" He said, "Nobody else can sell that here, you can only buy mine." And still the buildings are burning, mobs search for prey, Wake me up when they're clashing with police, just to hear them say, You're stuck in the State of California! It was a lovely place (but now terror reigns!)  We want you in chains. Plenty to ruin in the State of California! We love crime and vice (And the pay is nice!)  Don't need alibis! Needles on the sidewalk, the businesses will fail. And he said, "You must all stay locked in your homes, or I'll throw you in jail!" And in the governors' chambers, they plan for a tax feast, To keep on charging me for years, even after I move East! Last thing I remember, I was nearing the state line, I had to find a better place where my money could stay mine. "Relax," said the Governor, "I am programmed to receive."
