Recent actions by #Biden's mouth piece have reignited debates about the enforcement of the #HatchAct. #PresidentTrump’s Secretary of Interior #RyanZinke was forced to resign for violating the Hatch Act because he tweeted a photo of Trump socks. A political appointee #LynnePatton faced a fine and a temporary ban from federal employment after she was found to have violated the Hatch Act by producing a video for the 2020 Republican National Convention. It should be noted that SIX #Obama cabinet members spoke at the 2012 Democrat National Convention, but NONE of these officials were fined using the Hatch Act. Other high-level officials were investigated who allegedly misused their official government roles to impact the 2020 election and violating the Hatch Act: #MikePompeo, #ChadWolf, #KellyanneConway, #MarkMeadows, #KayleighMcEnany and #JaredKushner.
