He is housed in a maximum-security Special Housing Unit (SHU) under close supervision. Robinson is facing trial for aggravated murder following the September 10, 2025 assassination of political activist #CharlieKirk at the #FountainCourtyard on the #UtahValleyUniversity's main campus in #Orem, Utah. Kirk was shot at 12:23 p.m. MDT while speaking at an outdoor #TurningPointUSA event. He was struck in the neck by a single bullet fired from a high-powered bolt-action rifle from the nearby roof of the #LoseeCenter. Kirk was immediately rushed to #TimpanogosRegionalHospital in Orem, where he was later pronounced dead.
