MORE ON FLATIRON After looking at the great pics linked by @EDEKA I have a theory. This building does not look masonic or particularly occultic, so why all the symbolism? Things here look decidedly French so I focused a bit on the "death mask" portraits near the top from that perspective. I initially thought that it might be King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette but they bear little resemblance to the faces. BUT.. If we look at King Louis XIV I think we have a match. Furthermore XIV was known as "THE SUN KING"! So we have a very similar facial likeness, fleur de lis', and Sun emblems all over this building. Do we have a shrine here to pre-revolution French Royalty? If so why? Was French royalty perhaps already embedded in the US prior to the revolution? Oh BTW, George A Fuller built the Lincoln Memorial and a slew of other stuff. No small potato. Next dig. Stay tuned.
