“Your wife is so nice.” Love is, yes, serving your husband and his younger partner in coffee and pastries in bed, after they’ve had a happy night! https://fineartamerica.com/featured/your-wife-is-so-nice-its-no-wonder-you-dont-want-roy-delgado.html Why mention divorce at all? If a man is uncommonly successful in worldly terms, or stays uncommonly handsome, or better yet both, it’s normal to want to reap some reward for your success, and often, that reward is a trophy wife, often like this one younger, blonde, and busty! Yet under monogamy, winning in just that way can threatens a man’s domestic happiness if he is already married, as is more than likely if the guy showed promise from the start, and ambition was part of his love life too. He has this choice: he can either ditch his first wife for a trophy wife, but know he has hurt his beloved first spouse, and feel remorse at being unjust to her, and to any children they have had. That is awful of course, and should never be done. But what is the alternative? For all his winning in worldly terms, he gets no real reward… just “stuff”. This could be a man who made a useful invention, expanded a business that employs many people, or is seen worldwide and entertains millions. Is that really fair? Money can buy many fun things, some of which are guaranteed to be suited for just about everyone’s tastes. Yet the immemorial critique of the love of money, as the root of all evil, are validated by philosophical insight, however enticing wealth might remain. It does please us. But the things it can buy—a lavish home, a sports car, rare paintings, even collectibles for every niche—are not really different in kind from a wall covered in still-in-box Funko Pops, which people lampoon as a caricature of pointless materialism. Maybe the former are more tasteful, maybe nice to have in themselves—but ultimately you can do without, and will be no better off having them than had you never desired them. Even a mistress, girlfriend while married or “side chick” that the wife warmly welcomes, such as this comic is meant to show, cannot give a guy a lasting gain for his success, because unlike the wife, a mistress is almost by definition not open to life, not aiming to give her lover all the children he will give her. In polygyny, there can be happiness and just rewards for all. A good husband does not want to wrong his wife even if it will benefit himself, but if hard work and good fortune allow him a more extensive enjoyment of life—including the pleasures only women can give—without harming her, he should claim it as his. The faithful first wife, surely, should be happy with her husband as he goes from success to success, and wish him recompense fitting for his summed victories—and recognize that, the things far and away most satisfying and truly meaningful for him, as a man, can only be given him by additional women. Even if she denies him this happiness, claims exclusive right to his affections, and he submissively agrees, still she could never erase from her heart the suspicion that he secretly wants them—because deep down, she knows how much gladness an additional woman, or even more than that several new mates, would bring him. Rather than let her jealousy consume her, how much better a wife will she be, and how much more at peace with herself, if she acknowledges but decides to conquer her reservations? Not only should she welcome her man taking a well-merited, buxom trophy woman home (if she is of good character, and worthy of him: in polygyny too these are reasonable objections), she should insist on her joining the family, as a trophy plural wife! Witnessing her affection for the man she too loves so, the first wife’s initial patient, understanding toleration can only grow into the deep friendship sister-wives can share. And then—there is the trophy wife! Don’t forget her! Women can have all their babies by one man, and should rear them alongside him: they at least are made for monogamy, while he is decidedly not. For that reason, the choice of a husband is normally the most consequential choice a woman can make in her life! Can you blame women who complain that there aren’t any good man, and have what can seem ridiculously high standards? In this case though, the attractive, young trophy woman DID find the perfect guy! What is more, he has already shown himself a good husband to his first wife (and will have already shown if he is potent, and can give her babies too). Don’t deny her an uncommonly secure chance of happiness. Even if, like many women who seen like groupies to the rich and famous, she is initially just looking to have fun because he is high status and can spend a lot on her, he—and she, his first wife—should invite her to be more than that to him, an additional full wife. Because she is worth it. Is that what I dream of? Yes! Is it a man’s world? Yes! A man’s world, where those who can achieve now almost-unimaginable levels of male joy, freely having the loyal affections of multiple women, while considerately caring for all of the mates they love so much! Confession: I do own one Funko Pop, of Tanjiro. It was a gift, and is unboxed. #RoyDelgado #cartoons #wives #trophywives #trophywife #husbands #spouses #mistresses #mistress #girffriends #girlfriend #sidechicks #sidechick #divorce #devotion #love #sex #breakfastinbed #materialism #stuff #FunkoPops #patriarchy #jealousy #generosity #pluralmarriage #polygyny #polygamy #marriage
