The Old Republic, Clown World 1.0. ”…nor a believer in the practice of polygamy. I am attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States…” Thus we see how, even in the early days, the USA was constructed as a proposition nation. It was not blood, or even your goodwill toward the state and your new neighbors that made a good American, it was subscribing to a political test. It’s worth noting that in the Constitution, the No Religious Test Clause is immediately followed by the requirement that officeholders swear an oath or affirmation to support the Constitution. While there are to be no properly religious tests, a political creed is what binds the “nation” together. Some may be thinking, This is all common sense! Who but an unpatriotic leftist could object? Under these naturalization requirements, had such a great Western man as Julius Evola, been exiled from Italy following the war and come to America, he could not have become an American citizen without perjuring himself. And consider those native-born Americans who, had they, birth being an accident, been born abroad, could not have become Americans. Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were some of the most important religious figures in modern times, and came to preach and practice polygamy. Francis Parker Yockey, meanwhile, was one of the most intransigent and prescient men in the postwar authoritarian Right: rather than attached to the principles of the Consitution of the United States, he advocated an Imperium encompassing the White Western world. This, plus the demand immigrants discard the natural sentiments they continue to feel for their ancestral homelands. We understandably resent the strangers among us who feel more for Pakistan or Somalia… but is it right for Americans to feel no attachments to Ireland, Italy, or Germany, whence their forebears came? An understandable objection presents itself: in time of war, we can’t have dual loyalties! Then, you have to choose one or the other! But in practice, fighting for your country is not always doing her a favor. It might just be senseless killing, foster tyranny at home and spread it abroad. Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, James Longstreet, and hundreds of thousands like them were red-blooded Americans, and saw their patriotic duty as to resist, not fight for, the Union. In the Second World War, who was better serving America’s true interests: the millions who enlisted or answered the call when drafted, or pro-German propagandists like George Sylvester Viereck and Fritz Julius Kuhn, who did all they could to keep us out of war, and spent time in prison as foreign agents? Time has told. Who decides, then? No authority structure can be trusted to only make wars that are just and in the national interest. The best that can be said is, it is up to those in power to decide and enforce and punish, and those who will fight to obey and fight or resist and suffer as conscience dictates. The republican understanding of citizenship is faulty from bottom to top. Whether you are an American has something to do with citizenship papers, but even more to do with ancestry, and belonging to Western Civilization as a whole. It certainly has nothing to do with believing in the form of government outlined in the Constitution, or with disbelieving in polygamy. Like many patriots, I am aware that an authoritarian state would serve us better. As I make clear regularly, polygamy is good and right and just, and I wish for it to be more widely practiced. Further, I reject the notion that everyone who DOES subscribe to the republican creed is an American! Happy 250th a few weeks early, America. To ensure we make it to the proper quincentennial, time to bring about a new understanding that what makes you a true American isn’t getting a perfect score on some political test, but belonging to our branch of White, Western Civilization, and goodwill towards your fellow Americans! #propositionnation #creedalnation #magicdirttheory #USConstitution #Constitution #AmericanRepublic #American #America #UnitedStates #USA #US #republican #republic #authoritarian #pluralmarriage #polygyny #polygamy #monogamy #citizenship #EndDemocracy
