I meant here, following my reply to you the other day, in part: Referring specifically to Ashkenazi Jews, and given that they are all 6th cousins or closer, are they not a "sub-species", genetically distinct from non-Ashkenazi Europeans? Even if theirs was strictly a subset _within_ the European genome (I'm pretty sure it isn't), would that not meet any meaningful definition of "sub-species"?@ericdondero
