Prayer Precedes Judgment! In a powerful book called “The Legends of the Jews” it says that the taskmasters treated the builders of the Tower of Babel mercilessly. They were severely oppressed and abused. Finally, the cried unto God in prayer, and God answered their prayer by destroying the Tower of Babel. Likewise, in the Book of Enoch it says that the souls that perished in the days of Noah prayed unto God. They asked God for justice. And God gave them justice and sent the flood. Remember, the Bible says that violence ran rampant in the days of Noah. Prayer is powerful! God will respond with righteous judgment! Be careful! Do not persecute a child of God.
