He highlighted that this power is the same divine authority by which God created worlds and governs the heavens. President Nelson urged priesthood holders to actively seek to increase their spiritual capacity by engaging in heartfelt prayer, diligent scripture study, regular temple worship, and dedicated service. He warned that sins such as laziness, dishonesty, pride, and immorality can block the flow of priesthood power.
