Ben Swann reports that the United Kingdom is preparing to implement a national digital identification system for its citizens, and that it will prohibit its citizens from working without a digital ID---and that digital IDs can easily facilitate governments in wanton surveillance, intrusive data-collection, and other tools of tyranny/slavery. I would add that digital IDs one of a few vital components to establish not merely a "papers please" society but moreover a dystopian technocracy, whose other vital components include AI-powered surveillance-and-control (including social-credit scores), programmable digital money, and tokenization of assets.
