Billion-dollar investment firms like Blackrock are buying hundreds of thousands of homes, sometimes entire neighborhoods. Americans are easily priced out of owning their first home by enormous companies like these, effectively making the United States a nation of renters who own nothing. Republican-controlled states should consider limiting the number of properties that investment firms are able to buy in their states. Let's put the American People first - not enormous firms like Blackrock.
