Karlos obtained his high school degree in San Antonio, Texas and has undergraduate degrees in Philosophy, Economics and Law as well as a Master and PhD in International Relations and two post-doctorates--one in History and the other in Economics. Most of his studies were done at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He has published three academic books on Economic History in New York and speaks four languages.
