The 120-page ethics complaint slammed her with seven violations. On her first day she allegedly told a staffer who liked white Chief Clerk Amanda Reid, “Oh, I forgot you all like kissing white a**.” She then allegedly retaliated by moving the clerk’s desk after the clerk helped investigators. Blanchard also allegedly skipped all involuntary commitment hearings for nine months, leaving patients stuck in hospitals. One attorney pleaded that his client might not have made it without the hearing. She blamed being late on walking her three dogs and told staff she was the ultimate authority with no boss.
