A farmer was injured saving a puppy. His town rallied to bring in his harvest. In August, Minnesota farmer Scott Legried was driving when a German shepherd puppy ran into the road. Legried quickly swerved off the street into a cornfield. He saved the puppy, but was hospitalized with broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and a collapsed lung. When doctors told Legried he would need several months to recover, farmers from surrounding towns came together to work overtime and finish his October harvest. Legried told: “This is a busy time of year for farmers, so it meant the world to me,” “But I guess I really wasn’t surprised. I’m lucky to live in a community where people have always looked out for each other.” Credit: Scott Legried https://www.facebook.com/scott.legried ⭕️ Follow @EpochInspired for more interesting content everyday!
