@mytqin8 Working on it. There are: 1. Going to be a lot of moving parts. Start making lists. 2. It's going to take years. Prepare emotionally. I know it's hard. If you are in the tragic position, like me, of knowing that so-called doctors KILLED (there's a better word that may be legally perilous, but you know the one I mean) your loved one for money, make sure you do a few things: 1. Autopsy - Gotta gotta gotta have that detailed physical evidence. DO NOT let the hospital do it. Get a county ME in your state. Don't be surprised if they hide behind 'It was Covid' or 'it's been more than 72 hours'. Get a private autopsy. http://privateautopsy.com It's pretty expensive, but absolutely worth it and crucial to get your loved one justice. If nothing else, it gets you closure. Also find out what you need to do to have the autopsy legally admissible in your state. May need to get additional sign off from an in state pathologist. 2. Get their blood samples. Most hospitals only keep for 7 days. I was lucky in that her hospital keeps it for 2 months. Regular refrigerator at low temp will work. Supply to the pathologist. 3. Get a covid lawyer. Research and start calling. 4. Start marshaling financial resources. 5. When you get the autopsy results, if they confirm your suspicions, get the Death Certificate amended to show the actual cause of death. That may be helpful down the road. This is going to be your life for a while. And then it may go quiet for a while. Get used to that. Frantic activity interspersed with long periods of quiet. That's the legal process. My wife was taken from me 12/14. And I will never find another like her. She was 1/1,000,000,000. Unique. Absolutely brilliant. Passionate. Full of joy. Her death was not just a crime against her and her family, I consider it a crime against nature. I will never stop until _they_ are brought to justice. If you are in the same boat, know that you are not alone. You have my empathy. Justice will happen.
