Three times in World Series history in Major League Baseball that a team has won Games 7, 4, 3 and 1 and lost Games 6, 5 and 2! That was in 1912, 1919 and 1967 (the only of those three in which there was only exactly 7 games was in 1967)! In 1912, the Boston Red Sox won Games 8, 5, 4, 1 and tied game 2 and lost Games 7, 6 and 3! In 1919, the Cincinnati Reds won Games 8, 5, 4, 2 and 1 and lost Games 7, 6 and 3! This is in reverse order of what the Toronto Blue Jays could do with a win tonight against the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2025 World Series on Saturday, November 1st, 2025! No team has ever lost games 7, 4, 3 and won games 6, 5, 2 and 1 in World Series history if I am not mistaken at this point! That is the reverse of what the Los Angeles Dodgers could do with a win tonight! The bottomline is that if the Los Angeles Dodgers win tonight, it will be an extremely rare win in World Series history based on very specific criteria! #MLB #Baseball #MLB2025 #MLBWorldSeries #WorldSeries #WorldSeries2025 #LosAngeles #Dodgers #LosAngelesDodgers #LADodgers #LAD #Toronto #Bluejays #TorontoBluejays #TOR
