Jake Lang The fucking irony coming from Dearborn’s mayor is unbelievable. 🤡 If something happens to Jake at today’s rally, Jake should be the LAST thing this mayor is worried about. By threatening arrest and treating one protester as the problem while dismissing the threats and hostility he faced, this mayor is playing with fire. Jake stood there with a sign. He was attacked, threatened, and told he’d be killed if he returned. Yet somehow HE is being framed as the danger? If the mayor keeps pushing this one sided bullshit, the backlash could be far bigger than Jake Lang ever was. You don’t deescalate a situation by selectively targeting one side and ignoring the other. Protect EVERYONE’S First Amendment rights or admit this was never about free speech or the free practice of religion in the first place. Jake may be the least of your worries.
