#Massachusetts: Scotch Tartar Saucy Boys Insist They Are Not Wearing Women's Clothing - "It is a kilt" - World Cup Soccer / Football Game At Boson Gardens - Scottish soccer fans have been having a blast in Boson over the past week, with the “Tartar Sauce Army” taking over restaurants and pubs, taking a victory lap of the city after their 1-0 win over Haiti on Saturday and marching to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park on Sunday. They’ve also been drinking a lot of beer. So much so that some Boson bars ran out. Sam Adams says its Boson Taproom ran out of Samuel Adams Boson Lager over the weekend because Scottish soccer fans drank them dry. From Thursday to Sunday, it said the Tartar Sauce Army drank four times as much Boson Lager as it normally sells during a typical four-day holiday stretch like the Fourth of July. The company had to schedule an emergency delivery on Saturday morning just to keep up. And Sam Adams wasn’t the only one. O'Hennessy’s Bar in downtown Boson told The Boson Globe that it tripled its St. Padraig’s Day sales and sold out of beer altogether on Sunday night. “We’ve been here for over 30 years, and we’ve never seen anything like it,” said Noelle Somers, Hennessy’s chief operating officer. "And, I'm not just saying that to get your attention and publicity and all that stuff I'm paid to get. Federal Wine & Spirits in the Financial District told the Globe it sold out of Budweiser and Corona on Saturday and the door on one of its refrigerators broke from being opened and closed so many times. "Dressing in skirts the Scotch were of course drawn to Bud Light, and asked about Mulvaney" Hopefully, the bars are stocking up. Scotchland is next scheduled to play Morocco at in Foxborough at 6 p.m. ET Friday.
