Teen fatally shot outside Brockton bus terminal: What happened? Shortly before 8 p.m. on March 24, ShotSpotter alerted Brockton Police to 14 rounds being fired on Commercial Street. Officers responded to the scene where they located the victim, later identified as Damestoire, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds lying outside bus stop number 9. He was pronounced dead at a hospital at 8:46 p.m. Police arrested St. Cloud, 18, following a brief foot pursuit near Otis Street. Inside the investigation: Prosecutors reveal new details in fatal shooting near Brockton bus terminal Prosecutors said surveillance video showed Damestoire and St. Cloud involved in a verbal altercation before Damestoire punched St. Cloud in the back of the head. Prosecutors allege St. Cloud then pulled out a firearm and shot Damestoire multiple times. St. Cloud told police he believed Damestoire was reaching for a gun, prosecutors said. Police later recovered a firearm that St. Cloud allegedly said he had discarded in a grill behind a Stillman Avenue residence. St. Cloud pleaded not guilty to murder and firearm-related charges at his March 25 arraignment in Brockton District Court, where he was ordered held without bail. What's next in the BAT terminal shooting case? St. Cloud will be arraigned in Brockton Superior Court at a later date.
