@Fred90024 I was hired at a health care firm quite a few years ago. I was looking for new doctors for my family, having moved for the job. I was having lunch with some partners and they strongly told me to avoid black doctors. I was still naïve but listened. Since then it has gotten much much worse. Black and Hispanic residents are given specialty residencies with step 2 scores that would keep a white or Asian out of any residency, even an unaccredited NYC one. The step 3s are also a joke. Even the board exams are getting easier. It is so bad, with both residents/hospitalists and nurses, that hospital pharmacies run smart software routines to flag deadly interactions for the drugs the residents and hospitalists prescribe without checking records, or knowing the problems if they do happen to make the effort. Meanwhile the med carts have locked preloaded drawers that only open with scans of the patient's wristbands, because the black and Hispanic nurses are both lazy and too dumb to recognize med names. All of this tech is very expensive, but is the only way to keep hospitals from becoming third world slaughter houses.
