Like Assyria, Ezekiel foretold that Egypt’s fall would be so great that “the hearts of many people” would be troubled. Ezekiel also prophesied that Egypt’s fall to Babylon was determined. Nebuchadnezzar’s army would wreak havoc across the land and plunder Egypt’s treasures.
