Not exactly Canadian news... But it will directly affect the 2 only franchises of this business that happen to be located on #Canadian Soil (once the slow Canuck populace catch wind of this scandal). Take this post and its intel as a potential personal business warning to all who work at the 2 #Bricks_And_Minifigs (BAM)* locations in #Canada. Especially the one in Kitchener, Ontario. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BW6SXtcrTwk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKfQkRbd15k Here are the straight facts of the current U.S. BAM scandal. ### FACTUAL RECAP: The Bricks & Minifigs (BAM) Scandal Date: June 11, 2026 Status: Active Civil Litigation & Criminal Misdemeanor Charges #### 1. The Core Dispute (Verified Facts) The Consignment: In November 2023, Bryan Mansell and his father entered an unauthorized consignment agreement with Chrystal Law/Gorman, owner of the Bricks & Minifigs (BAM) Salem-Keizer, Oregon franchise. BAM corporate policy strictly prohibits consignment. The Takeover: In November 2024, Law/Gorman abandoned the franchise due to insolvency (~$200k owed to BAM). BAM corporate repossessed the store and installed new franchisees, Brandon Best and Joshua Johnson. The Missing Inventory: Upon takeover, the Mansell collection was largely missing. BAM initially claimed only ~$2,000–$5,000 in inventory remained. Independent Findings: Investigator Coffeezilla (June 2026) determined the collection’s actual value was ~$107,000 (not $200,000). He verified $21,000 was present during the takeover and estimated $50,000–$83,000 is owed to Mansell due to unreported sales and poor record-keeping by Law/Gorman. Only ~$20,000 remains truly unaccounted for. Corporate Action: BAM has fired franchisees Best and Johnson and closed the Salem store. CEO Ammon McNeff has offered to make Mansell whole financially. #### 2. The Escalation (Verified Facts) Reckless Ben’s Involvement: YouTuber Reckless Ben (Benjamin Schneider) began investigating in early 2026, employing tactics including picketing, serving legal papers at private residences, and filming confrontations. Arrests: In March 2026, Schneider was arrested twice by the American Fork Police Department (Utah) on misdemeanor charges: stalking, criminal trespass, targeted residential picketing, and disorderly conduct. Warrant Status: As of May 29, 2026, American Fork PD states no active warrants exist for Schneider. Schneider claims to have fled to Mexico fearing a "no bail" warrant; PD says he simply missed a June 8 court date, which would generate a warrant only upon failure to appear. The RICO Lawsuit: On May 30, 2026, BAM filed a civil lawsuit under the Utah Pattern of Unlawful Activity Act (State RICO) against Schneider, Mansell, and associates, alleging extortion and harassment. The Gag Order: Utah Judge Tony Graf Jr. issued an ex parte Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) preventing Schneider from posting content about BAM under threat of jail time and forfeiture of the Mansell GoFundMe. Schneider has paused his investigation coverage. Influencer Involvement: Prominent figures including Coffeezilla, Patreon CEO Jack Conte, and ActualJusticeWarrior have publicly covered the case, criticizing BAM’s legal tactics and the gag order. #### 3. The "Corruption" Allegations (Verified Facts vs. Claims) Police Conduct: American Fork PD released redacted bodycam footage. Schneider alleges misconduct (shoulder injury, illegal search); PD denies this, citing footage discrepancies (e.g., shoulder side mismatch). LDS Connection: It is verified that BAM executives (McNeff, Best, Johnson), the new franchisees, and American Fork PD officers are members of the LDS Church. No evidence has been presented proving institutional church involvement or coordinated religious collusion. Judge Graf: Judge Tony Graf Jr. is presiding over both the BAM case and the high-profile murder trial of Tyler Robinson (accused of killing Charlie Kirk). He issued the BAM gag order. No evidence of direct collusion between Graf and BAM has been proven in court (YET). Trafficking/Pedophilia: Zero evidence exists linking this case to child trafficking or pedophilia. These are mostly unsubstantiated online rumors (FOR NOW). More details will be posted on this (as a response post) on this specific post! @Caudill @CanadianNancy
