Wow, I posted about joining http://MINDS.com to further my MESSAGE REACH and I was surprised someone (not gonna say who, not important, and I'm not looking to call that person out) responded "FUCK MINDS!" As if by my joining there too is A MAJOR INSULT AND BETRAYAL TO #GAB and my fellow #GABFamily friends (I'm not leaving #GAB, looking to expand, not shrink/limit my outreach)! So, since I can't quote/repost a sub-comment (w/o outing who it was/is, and as I said NOT looking to call that person out Publicly), sharing that reaction as I did above, so I can share my response below.... OK, fine, if you want to CHOOSE TO LIMIT your own influence/reach, by all means have that attitude. As for those of us wanting to REACH AS MANY AS POSSIBLE I'm willing to help promote ANY/ALL OUTLETS to do so! I don't get the I LIKE ONLY A BUBBLE WHERE I JUST PREACH TO THE CHOIR mindset. It may make us feel GREAT to surround ourselves with only like minded Folks, but frankly it often weakens ourselves to NOT EVER BE CHALLENGED and sharpen/hone/tweak/perfect our own arguments! I can see already it whines about my hashtag use, and admittedly I go overboard at times on the CROSS-REFERENCE ability/aspect use of hashtags, so I'm likely to only cross-post things from Twatter (will require less editting)! I'm not gonna spend much time there, if I have to edit things (just not willing to spend that time on them) BUT, again, when/where there are things that I can (can be easily cut/pasted from something I'm already putting on Twatter) I will also share it! Why would I not? Again, wanting to maximize the audience OF THE THINGS I WANT TO ADVOCATE BOTH FOR OR AGAINST?!?!? The only way to CHANGE MINDS is to be some places where there are MINDS (yes, pun intended :P LOL) different than ours to attempt to change. I just joined there, so I don't know if that's the case. BUT we are down to 60ish days out from #Election2020 and I'm looking for opportunities how/where my efforts can be stepped-up to try and make a difference!!! To each his own, you do you! :) It's like in this thread at https://gab.com/JLenardDetroit/posts/104764711072059359, where someone who basically insists ANYONE ON TWATTER WASTES THERE TIME and WHY WOULD I BOTHER. I thought I gave some SOUND/SOLID reasons why. But since he couldn't badger/bully me into his WE HATE TWITTER, TWITTER IS COMPLETELY USELESS, TWITTER USERS ARE THE ENEMY (which, OFTEN, with many is true, but NOT ALL) mindset he blew a gasket!
