🪕🎻🎵I went to an oldtime music jam today that my bluegrass banjo player friend invited me. Location is the Folklife Center at Fairmont State University in Fairmont WV. There were mostly dulcimer and fiddle players. Four of us banjo players. I'm learning there is a significant difference in old time and bluegrass banjo styles. My friend seems to be equally good at both. He instructed me in a few chords for the session and that's all I played.
