🚂🚃I'm in eastern Indiana this weekend. I caught this Norfolk Southern intermodal container train passing by the old Richmond Depot. The depot no longer has passenger service but it was refurbished in 2010 and now houses businesses. Richmond's historic Depot District has many shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Richmond was the St Louis of its day, the Gateway to the West, with railroad service and the National Road which became US-40. Many fallen flag railroads have passed by the Richmond Depot.
