Who was Menno Simons? In spite of a hefty bounty on his head, Menno survived and died of natural causes at the age of 65. He was buried in his garden in Wustenfelde, Germany. That's awesome! ✝️ Menno Simons (Dutch 🇳🇱 West #Frisian: Minne Simens 1496 – 1561) was a Roman Catholic priest from the #Friesland region of the Low Countries who was excommunicated from the #Catholic Church and became an influential #Anabaptist religious leader.
