#LotsWife was told NOT to look 👀back, but she did: because she MISSED the chaos, the sin, the degeneracy! Therefore God turned her into a #PillarOfSalt 🧂, because God knew she would hurt Lot and others, if she was allowed to go with them, after proving she was NOT one of God's true children. This was not about one time disobedience, but about a deep desire and yearning to remain, in this God-forsaken city. Genesis 19:26, Lot's wife turned into a #PillarOfSalt because she disobeyed an explicit command from God's angels: as they fled the fiery destruction of #SodomAndGomorrah, she looked back at the doomed cities. Disobedience & Attachment: Many commentators view her looking back as a sign of hesitation and a deep, sinful attachment to the worldly life, she was leaving behind. #Jesus later referenced this in Luke 17:32, as a warning against returning to old, destructive ways.
