Michigan rapper Jeremy Christopher Ford, known as “AllStar JR,” has been charged in connection with an April 8 shooting at Confessions restaurant in Houston, following a violent robbery attempt. Ford, a convicted felon barred from firearm possession, was arrested in Michigan shortly before the charges were filed by federal authorities. The affidavit states that police responded to the scene and found two shooting victims; one with a neck wound and another with multiple gunshot wounds. Surveillance footage showed Ford involved in a fight over his jewelry, during which his handgun fell.
