Barry Christian, a 54-year-old Republican candidate for the Oklahoma Senate, was found dead in his vehicle at a wildlife refuge near Erick on Thursday. He had been reported missing after failing to attend a meeting, with his last known sighting in Sayre. Christian was actively campaigning and had a meet-and-greet scheduled for a rattlesnake festival.
