Two people were arrested at Cartagena's Rafael Núñez International Airport for allegedly attempting to smuggle three baby monkeys from Colombia to the Dominican Republic. The monkeys were found hidden in their clothing, including one in a man's genitals and two in a woman's bra. One monkey died, likely from suffocation, while the other two were dehydrated and weak but are now under the care of the Environmental Public Establishment of Cartagena. The police described the conditions the animals faced as inhumane.
